Barcelona Toastmasters is a public speaking Club, member of Toastmasters International, which aims to help its Members become better communicators in their personal and professional lives whether it be giving a presentation, facing a large audience, a personal interview or training other people.
You will gain in persuasion and confidence when presenting a topic, and improve your personal interactions with others. Each Toastmaster Club has its own admissions and membership policy. In Barcelona Toastmasters Club, you need to visit a minimum of three sessions to qualify for membership.
Currently, the great number of requests we receive imply a waiting list until September. You may anyway request to participate as a Guest in one of our sessions (Mondays or Wednesdays). Visit the "Other clubs" section to contact fellow Clubs in Barcelona.
When do we meet?
Every Wednesday from 19:45 to 21:30, except Holy Week, Christmas, and August. Where do we meet? 5th floor, suite 502 of EAE (C/Aragó 55, Barcelona). What is the Membership price?
Barcelona Toastmasters is a speakers club, run by and for its members, enabling us to charge a very small fee. In all, yearly fees and Manual sets cost less than 100 €. Twice a year memberships and fees are renewed. What are the Club languages? They are English and Spanish, each week alternately. Members must be able to understand and pronounce a speech in both languages. In April, in honour of Sant Jordi, we hold a Club session entirely in Catalan.
